Refund & Cancellation policy
Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Installed and Activated Products
For security, safety, and product integrity reasons, products that have been installed, activated, configured, registered, or used are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange unless the product is found to be defective under applicable warranty terms.
Once a smart lock, digital lock, access control device, or related security product has been installed on a door, connected to an application, activated, or put into service, it shall be considered accepted by the Customer and will no longer qualify for return under the standard return policy.
Customers are encouraged to carefully review product specifications, compatibility requirements, and installation requirements before purchase.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Book with obvious signs of use
- CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 15 days after delivery
Refunds
Return Policy:
- We provide a 15-day return policy from the date of delivery.
- To be eligible for a return, the product must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.
Return Shipping Charges:
- If you choose to return an item, the shipping charges for the return will be deducted from your total refund amount.
The deduction amount will be based on the charges incurred by the courier company for the return shipment. - Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@iplugindia.com and send your item to:

Products that have been installed or activated are not eligible for exchange unless a manufacturing defect is verified by iPLUG India or an authorized service representative.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Shipping returns
To return your product, you should mail your product to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Product Installation and Opened Products
Products that have been installed, configured, activated, or used may not be eligible for return unless found to be defective, damaged upon delivery, or otherwise covered under applicable warranty terms.
For security and safety reasons, products that have been physically installed on doors, access control systems, or related infrastructure may be subject to additional inspection before any return, replacement, or refund request is approved.
Installation Charges
Installation charges, technician visit charges, travel charges, and service fees are non-refundable once the installation visit has been completed or the service has been rendered.
Wrong Product Ordered
Customers are requested to verify product specifications before placing an order.
If a customer orders the wrong product, return requests may be considered only if:

The product remains in its original packaging.

The return request is made within the applicable return period.
Return shipping and associated charges may be deducted from the refund amount.
Damaged or Defective Products
If a product is received damaged, defective, or not functioning as intended upon delivery, customers should notify iPLUG India within 48 hours of receiving the product.
Supporting photographs, videos, and proof of purchase may be requested to facilitate inspection and resolution.
Non-Returnable Products
The following items may not be eligible for return:
- Installed smart locks and digital locks
- Activated or configured security products
- Access control systems that have been commissioned or put into service
- Customized products
- Special-order products
- Bulk or project-based orders
- Products damaged due to misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, accidents, or negligence
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during purchase.
Depending on the payment provider, bank, or financial institution, it may take additional time for the refunded amount to reflect in the customer’s account.
